MIBR Bench WOOD7

Following their disappointing run at PGL Major Antwerp, MIBR have announced a roster change. The players and the coaching stuff jointly decided to bench Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato; his replacement remains unknown.

WOOD7 is a 26-years-old player from Brazil, who joined MIBR last October and has been the team’s in-game leader and AWPer. This year the team has improved their performance, managing to win ESL Challenger League 40: North America and ESEA Cash Cup: NA Spring 2022 #1.

The team also successfully qualified for the regions RMR-event, where they placed second, advancing to the PGL Major Antwerp’s first Challengers Stage. There they placed 11th with a 2-3 score – they defeated 9z and Eternal Fire, but lost to Outsiders, Astralis, and BNE. Thus, they received no prize money.

While WOOD7’s replacement has not been revealed yet, we will probably know the team’s new member within this week, since they will debut at ESL Challenger 41 on May 25th.
