Liquid, COL and Imperial to PGL Major Antwerp

The American RMR for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 is reaching its end, with yet another three teams having secured their places at the major. In the high matches of the fourth round, Imperial defeated Partyz (2-1), COL outplayed Caetano (2-0), while Liquid managed to beat OG (2-0). The winners of these matches will start the major from its Challengers Stage.

Today the event will feature the final fifth round, the participants of which will fight for the final invite to the major. The series are as follows: Caetano vs 9z (10:00 AM UK time), paiN vs Case (1:45 PM), and EG vs Partyz (5:30 PM). Tomorrow the best three teams of these matches will compete in the sixth place tiebreakers.

On top of that, today we will be able to watch the match for the first place at the event, where MIBR will take on FURIA Esports. The game is scheduled for 10:00 AM UK time and will determine the only team from the region to qualify to the major’s Challengers Stage.

PGL Major Antwerp is scheduled for May 9th – 22nd and will be played in Antwerp, Belgium. There twenty four teams will compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool. The event’s final stage will be held at Atwerps Sportpaleis with live audience.
