G2 Esports player Audric "JaCkz" Jug has revealed through his Twitter account that he had injured his hand. At first the player said that the team would have to use their coach Damien "maLeK" Marcel as a stand-in, however later explained that it was a joke and that he would continue playing with injury. The player fell on concrete; however, the injury is “nothing serious”.

JaCkz’s team is currently competing at IEM Cologne, where they started the event in Group A. Yesterday they defeated Complexity (2-0) in their first match, while today they will face BIG (7:00 PM UK time).

The group stage of IEM Cologne started yesterday and will conclude this Sunday, July 11th. The best team of each group will advance to the semifinals, while the teams placed 2nd and 3rd will start the playoffs stage from the quarterfinals.

IEM XVI – Cologne is a LAN event held in Germany without live audience. The event features a $1,000,000 prize pool, $400,000 of which will go to its champion. Besides that, the tournament’s winner will get a point towards Intel Grand Slam.
