FURIA Defeat MIBR in a Match for the Legends Stage of PGL Major Antwerp

FURIA Esports have become the only team from the Americas to qualify for the Legends Stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. They defeated MIBR with a 2-0 score in the tiebreaker for the first place in the local RMR.

As for MIBR, they and Imperial, Complexity, Liquid and one another team will start the major from its first Challenger Stage. The match for the final place at the major begins right now, there paiN Gaming will face 9z Team. You can watch the stream here.

Today is also the first day of the RMR-event in Asia Pacific – it will continue for just two days, there four teams – TyLoo, Renegades, IHC Esports and LookingForOrg – are competing for two invites to the major’s first stage.

PGL Major Antwerp will be held on May 9th – 22nd in Antwerp, Belgium. The prize pool is set at $1,000,000 and will be split between 24 participating teams. The major’s final stage will be held at Atwerps Sportpaleis with live audience.
