Complexity Part Ways with their CS:GO Coach Keita
Following the team’s disappointing performance at IEM XVI – Cologne, Complexity have announced a change in their roster – by mutual agreement, the team parts ways with their coach. Jamie "keita" Hall, who has been training the team for the last two years, thanked the organization and players for the work done and is currently evaluating his options.
28-years-old Keita is a former player who switched to coaching in 2017. First he joined Complexity in late 2018 and for almost a year worked for them as an analyst, and then in June of 2019 he returned to become the team’s full-fledged coach. He managed to help the team to win BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Finals and BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021, as well as a number of online events.
Recently the team’s results have been rather disappointing – after winning the spring groups at BLAST Premier, the team won only one match in the tournament’s final stage and placed 5th – 6th. Earlier this month they made it through the Play-In stage of IEM Cologne 2021, but placed last in Group A after losing to G2 Esports (0-2) and Virtus.pro (1-2). The team’s next listed event is ESL Pro League 14, which is scheduled for August 16th – September 12th.
